Gateway Rehabilitation Hospital at Norton Healthcare Pavilion was established in 2001 and is located at 315 East Broadway in Louisville, Kentucky.  Gateway is a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital that is accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and a member of the Kentucky Hospital Association.

Upon arrival at Gateway Rehabilitation Hospital the patient is greeted by a team of medical professionals committed to meeting their rehabilitation needs in an atmosphere of dignity and comfort.  The Gateway staff meets with all patients to develop a structured care plan based on individual requirements utilizing the industry's latest techniques, equipment and services specifically designed to speed recovery.  Our experienced staff and physicians work with the patient to determine what is needed to return home.  The care plans are discussed and reevaluated regularly by our staff and physicians with the goal of increasing independence to allow the patient to return home when possible.

Patient comfort is important to us.  Our warm and comfortable surroundings don't look or feel like a traditional hospital.  With plenty of sitting areas to visit with family and friends or to enjoy quiet meditation, patients recuperate from injury or illness in comfort.  Patient recovery remains the pinnacle of all analysis, decisions and treatments.
